Poem: September 11, 2001

September 11, 2001,
a new way of living just begun.
Three jetplanes into busy buildings flew
with many scared souls and terrorist crews.
A fourth into American soil dived,
the courageous willing to die to save lives.
Then came Anthrax, a micro killer
sent unsuspectingly through the mail in letters.
'War!' we cried for, war we got,
to get revenge on an evil lot..
All I can do is choke and cry,
when my children ask 'Will I die?'
The peace we knew is now changed,
civilians, not soldiers, are killed or maimed.
Two armies, two religions, two sides,
hatred growing in leaps, bounds, and strides.
An end to this? Most see none,
until the earth is blow-ed to kingdom come.

List of victims names'.
